For those of you desperate to get up to Lee Quarry and build trails there's a dig day planned for Sunday the 17th of April. Meeting at 10am in the quarry (you can drive up if you want to but Tony won't be taking responsibility if you rip the sump out of your car! Lifts up to the quarry will be on offer) we're hoping to work through to about 1ish to carry out some repairs to the pump track and other recently constructed trails that weren't allowed to bed in properly by impatient riders. Tools and guidance will be provided but it's a good idea to wear steel toe cap work boots or failing that good outdoor boots. Be aware 'facilities' in the quarry are a little limited although the Cafe at the bottom of the hill are happy for us to use theirs.
Assuming we get the repairs finished in good time there should be an opportunity to ride afterwards. Tony Lund is happy to lead a ride up and over to Cragg Quarry for those that want to do that.
