Based at Ye Olde Boot and Shoe on Millar Barn Lane in Waterfoot our hire and accommodation centre is professionally equipped and staffed to ensure you get the most from your day or stay with us.

To give you access to all these trails we have selected a fleet of modern Trek mountain bikes that are perfect for this Pennine terrain.

If you are new to the sport what better way is there to experience the trails than hiring a bike first. As well as the bike RPA provide all the essential tools and accessories you'll need to keep you safe and mobile.

RPA's workshop is available to you if your bike requires adjustment, needs that new cable or a little more "TLC".

Mark has a passion for bikes, backed with Cytech Level 2 training so you know you are in safe hands.

As well as being a ideal place to hire your bike from Rossendale Pennine Adventure also provides a range of other mountain biking services including food & accomodation and skills courses as well as trail guiding with our team of experts.

Ride On stocks a full range of bikes to hire , from lightweight XC machines to full-on downhill bikes.

Most of their bikes in store are available for hire or to demo, and it is a perfect opportunity to test a bike before you buy it. If you do end up making a purchase, they will refund the hire cost! For your safety and enjoyment, all hire bikes are checked and prepared in their workshop by their fully trained, professional mechanics.

Collect your chosen bike from them on a Friday evening, enjoy for the weekend, and return to them the following Monday. All you need to hire a bike is a valid credit/debit card and proof if ID such as a driving licence or utility bill. Their standard hire charge is £50 per day but this is negotiable depending on duration of hire and the standard of the bike being taken.

Situated in the heart of Rossendale you can literally ride from the shop to Lee & Cragg Quarries, pick up the Mary Towneley Loop or access the network of bridleways across Rossendale and beyond.
