Healey Pump Track

Healey Pump Track is here! It recently opened in August and it's a great place to have fun. If you're not familiar with pump tracks, a pump track is a continuous loop of humps and banked berms that you ride by "pumping" rather than pedalling.

It's a great place for all ages, you can pump it, pop it, manual it and if your dare, jump it. It's a rollercoaster of fun with some big dips too! Pump tracks are a great place to practice your skills, but equally as great to have some fun.

It's located at the end of Healey Dell (on the Whitworth side) and was built by Dirtworks BMX, the same guys who built the pump track at Stubbylee Park.

The pump track is also along the route of the future 'Valley of Stones Greenway', which will be a path and cycleway connecting Rochdale, Bacup and Rawtenstall. This will not only be a great commuter cycleway but also a great day out for the family taking in two fantastic pump tracks.
