Cycle Addicts

Cycle Addicts opened their doors in late April 2012 and have hit the ground running (or possibly riding) and business is booming. David Brown owner and head mechanic is a keen supporter of the biking community and jumped at the chance to support P.M.B.A. in a tangible way. The riding public seem to be backing him as well with excellent feedback on the SingletrackWorld forum.

Offering a range of mountain and road bikes from Saracen, Lapierre and Orbea as well as parts and accessories, Cycle Addicts also provide repair and service your ride offering a range of options tailored around your needs.

Open Monday, Wednesday to Saturday and based in the heart of Rochdale they provide everything you'd expect and want from an LBS, including that all important brew and local riding knowledge. If you're local or passing through drop in for a chat and have a browse through the shop. Cycle Addicts is supporting the riding community now it's up to us to return the favour.

MTB Monster

MTB Monster offers the best of both worlds with a bricks and mortar store and a cracking online presence through their slick website. The dedicated mountain biking store offers bike servicing along with the usual array of accessories and a good selection of bike brands being official dealers of Orange, Lapierre, Commencal, Bergamont, Mondraker, Yeti and Frog. All this and 0% finance as well.

Passionate about mountain biking, MTB Monster caters for levels of rider form the novice through to the experienced rider. The shop is relatively new and is adding stock and new lines all the time. If you can't find what you want they'll happily try and source it for you.

Rebound Suspension

Rebound Suspension is a company in Bolton, Lancashire run by a mountain biker for mountain bikers. They provide servicing and repair throughout the UK for mountain bike forks and rear shocks of all makes such as Fox, Rockshox, Marzocchi, Manitou, Pace, etc. They have a no nonsense approach to save you money, keeping your mountain bike on the trails where it belongs.

As an independent repairer of mountain bike forks and shocks their overheads are very low giving them the lowest fork and rear shock servicing and repair prices on the web. They only use original Fox, Rockshox and Marzocchi approved parts and lubricants on your suspension forks and rear shocks. They can typically return suspension fork or rear shock services or repairs within 1 or 2 days from receipt upon request to anywhere in the UK. Customers in the Bolton, Lancashire and Greater Manchester area can benefit from their low cost collection and delivery services. Mountain bike suspension forks and rear shocks can then be left on your bike to save you time and money. Any issues with mountain bike headsets can also be addressed whilst servicing or repairing your forks or rear shocks. All suspension forks and rear shocks receive a health check during even the most minor of services or repairs to address any further potential problems before they start to cost you money. Stanchion wear caused by dry suspension bushes or ingress of dirt into the dust seals on a suspension fork or rear shock can be addressed in its early stages by suspension fork bush resizing, brand new fork bushes and new or higher specification fork dust seals on most suspension forks or rear shocks.

Run by guys that ride, Ride On offers a wealth of experience and advice and a wide range of brands. They have a workshop staffed with experienced mechanics and will sort pretty much all your maintenance and bike build requirements, a fully stocked shop will sort all your purchasing needs and they even provide hire bikes.

They are an official Service centre for Shimano, Hope and Magura brakes and suspension, Rockshox and Marzocchi and are stockists of Giant, Mongoose and GT, DMR, Commencal, Mondraker, Genesis and Colnago bikes as well as offering their own custom builds.

If you're in the area or riding the trails at Lee & Cragg Quarry it'd be rude not to pop in and have a chat and a browse. Being local riders themselves they have a wealth of knowledge on where to ride locally.

A true LBS (Local Bike Shop) involved in supporting the local mountain biking community, Craig the boss is also chair of PMBA and the team have reguarly supported events like the Singletrack Weekender and provided help and advice for projects such as Lee Quarry and Gisburn Forest.
