PMBA Enduro Series would like to introduce our full sponsor line up for the 2016 series. Thanks to our many generous sponsors the total series prize fund is over £20,000 and includes over £1000 in cash prizes.

We have already announced that Hope will be the title sponsor, who have been key in building up the series in the last few years. We also welcome back Datatag, bike theft is a big problem and their products help prosecute thieves the more bikes are "tagged" the better for all of us. ONeal have stepped up to main sponsors this year too, specifically with their range of protection products which are a great match to the enduro lifestyle. Its great to have Orange mountain bikes onboard, a much loved Northern brand to partner our northern series; its an natural partnership and they'll be supplying the biggest single prize we have ever awarded.

The series will also continue to be supported by KS dropper seatposts, Ride Slovenia and Lazer helmets; and "cheers" to new supporters Kirkby Lonsdale Brewery.  Event management from the experienced Borderline Events team combined with the faultless SI transponder based timing system allows us to provide you a relaxed fun event where you can ride with your mates at your own pace, yet still get serious on the stages.

The extensive prize list includes some great end of season raffle prizes. Every entry is also a raffle ticket and we have 2 massive prizes:
£3000 voucher for a Orange bike of your choice; Five, Alpine, Segment or any bike from Oranges extensive range.
£1000 week long holiday for 2 at Ride Slovenia to experience some of the best back country alpine singletrack available.

We have prize equivalence across all major categories this year. So no matter if your racing Elite, Women, Junior, Senior, Master, Veteran or Grand Veteran every category will race for the same prizes over the series. Prizes will rotate over these 7 categories at each of the 7 rounds; with cash, Hope goodies, O'Neal protection; KS Post, Lazer Revolution Helmets, Datatags, Kirkby Lonsdale Ales and Orange goodies all up for grabs. These 7 categories also have series points, and trophies for the overall winners.

We are still running 5 person podiums for all 9 categories, including Hardtail and the new Fun Women category. Along with some spot prizes and crowd pleasing giveaways at the prize presentation to give back to as many racers as possible.

The championship will be decided by the best 4 out of the first 6 events plus the final. Allowing racers to drop or miss 2 rounds, we feel this is important with so many great enduro events throughout the UK. We do want enduroists to be able enjoy a variety of events, and we have listened to the feedback we have been given. We would of course advise that you check for the BEMBA logo when entering enduro events, this should reassure racers that the event is run to the agreed guidelines. The PMBA series is run under BEMBA guidelines. www.bemba.org.uk for more info.

With entries for rounds 4-7 opening in a month the countdown is on. Rounds 1 & 2 sold out within days of the entries opening back in December, so racers will need to be quick to secure a place in one of the remaining rounds. Monday 22nd February is the date you need, 150 spaces per round will open at midday, and a further 150 at 8pm the same day.

Keep up on the series news with our media partners Enduro Mountainbike Magazine and Singletrack Magazine.
